OUR MISSION

The Kirry Jiménez Initiative was born in "Movimiento Pro Cultura" with the purpose of positively influencing the daily life of the municipality of Vicente Noble, Barahona, Dominican Republic, through the teaching of music and the promotion of musical shows. This project sees in musical academic training and the promotion of musical shows an ideal tool in the fight against poverty and raising the quality of life not only in that municipality, but in the entire southwest region.

La Iniciativa Kirry Jiménez nace en el Movimiento Pro Cultura, con la finalidad de incidir positivamente en la vida cotidiana del municipio de Vicente Noble, Barahona, República Dominicana, a través de la enseñanza de la música y la promoción de espectáculos musicales. Este proyecto ve en la formación académica musical y la promoción de espectáculos musicales una herramienta idónea en la lucha contra la pobreza y la elevación de la calidad de vida no tan solo de ese municipio, sino de toda la región suroeste.
